कुवेर इव कोसाढ्यो
मानस्वी मृगराड् इव
विष्णु-भक्तः प्रशान्तात्मा
प्रह्लाद इव मूर्तिमान्
kuvera iva kosāḍhyo
mānasvī mṛgarāḍ iva
viṣṇu-bhaktaḥ praśāntātmā
prahlāda iva mūrtimān
kuvera—Kuvera; iva—like; kosāḍhyaḥ—wealthy; manasvī—chivalorus; mṛgarāt—a lion; iva—like; viṣṇu-bhaktaḥ—adevotee of Lord Viṣṇu; praśāntātmā—peaceful at heart; prahlāda—Prahlāda; iva—like; mūrtimān—personified.
English translation of verse 4.5.3:
Like Kuvera he was wealthy. Like a lion he was noble and chivalrous. Like Prahlāda he was a peaceful-hearted devotee of Lord Viṣṇu.
