The Garga-samhita Verses 4.1.26-27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 1 (The Story of the Personified Vedas) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

तेन गोप्यो गताः सर्वा
भाण्डीरं चाति-विस्मिताः
ततः प्रदक्षिणी-कृत्य
मुनिं दुर्वाससं च ताः
नत्वा तद्-दर्शनं चक्रुः
पुरो धृत्वाशनं बहु
मे पूर्वं चापि मे पूर्वं
अन्नं भोज्यं त्वया मुने

tena gopyo gatāḥ sarvā
bhāṇḍīraṃ cāti-vismitāḥ
tataḥ pradakṣiṇī-kṛtya
muniṃ durvāsasaṃ ca tāḥ
natvā tad-darśanaṃ cakruḥ
puro dhṛtvāśanaṃ bahu
me pūrvaṃ cāpi me pūrvaṃ
annaṃ bhojyaṃ tvayā mune

tena—by that; gopyaḥthe gopīs; gatāḥ—went; sarvāall; bhāṇḍīram—to Bhandiravana; ca—and; ati-vismitāḥfilled with wonder; tataḥthen; pradakṣiṇī-kṛtyacircumambulating; munim—the sage; durvāsasam—Durvasa; ca—and; tāḥ—they; natvā—bowing down; tad-darśanam—the sight of him; cakruḥ—did; puraḥbefore; dhṛtvā—placing; aśanam—food; bahuabundant; me—mine; pūrvam—first; ca—and; api—and; me—mine; pūrvam—first; annamfood; bhojyam—should be eaten; tvayā—by you; mune—O sage.

English translation of verses 4.1.26-27:

Filled with wonder, the gopīs went to Bhāṇḍīravana forest. where they saw Durvāsā Muni, bowed down before him, circumambulated him, and, each of them saying, "O sage, the food I have brought should be tasted first," placed many foods before him.
