The Garga-samhita Verses 3.10.22-23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 10 (The Glory of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

ऋष्यमूकस्य सह्यस्य
तथा देव-गिरेः पुनः
यात्रायां लभते पुण्यं
समस्ताय भुवः फलम्
गिरिराजस्य यात्रायां
तस्मात् कोटि-गुणं फलम्
गिरिराज-समं तीर्थं
न भूतं न भविष्यति

ṛṣyamūkasya sahyasya
tathā deva-gireḥ punaḥ
yātrāyāṃ labhate puṇyaṃ
samastāya bhuvaḥ phalam
girirājasya yātrāyāṃ
tasmāt koṭi-guṇaṃ phalam
girirāja-samaṃ tīrthaṃ
na bhūtaṃ na bhaviṣyati

ṛṣyamūkasya—of Ṛṣyamūka; sahyasya—borne; tathā—so; deva-gireḥ—of Devagiri; punaḥ—again; yātrāyām—on pilgrimage; labhate—attains; puṇyam—piety; samastāya—all; bhuvaḥof tyhe world; phalam—the result; girirājasya—of Govardhana Hill; yātrāyām—on pilgrimage; tasmāt—than that; koṭi-guṇam—multiplied ten million times; phalam—result; girirāja-samamequal to Govardhana Hill; tīrtham—holy place; na—not; bhūtam—was; na—not; bhaviṣyati—will be.

English translation of verses 3.10.22-23:

By going on pilgrimage to Govardhana Hill one attains piety ten million times greater than the piety he would attain by going on pilgrimage to Ṛṣyamūka or Devagiri. There never was, nor will there ever be a holy place equal to Govardhana Hill.
