The Garga-samhita Verse 3.10.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 10 (The Glory of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पर्वते मङ्गल-प्रस्थे
यो दद्याद् धेम-दक्षिणाम्
स याति विष्णु-सारूप्यं
युक्तः पाप-शतैर् अपि

parvate maṅgala-prasthe
yo dadyād dhema-dakṣiṇām
sa yāti viṣṇu-sārūpyaṃ
yuktaḥ pāpa-śatair api

parvate maṅgala-prasthe—on Mount Maṅgala; yaḥ—one who; dadyāt—gives; dhema-dakṣiṇām—gold in daksina; sa—he; yātiattains; viṣṇu-sārūpyam—a form like Lord Viṣṇu's; yuktaḥ—engaged; pāpa-śataiḥ—with hundreds of sins; api—even.

English translation of verse 3.10.18:

Even though he has committed hundreds of sins, a person who on Mount Maṅgala gives gold in charity attains a spiritual form like Lord Viṣṇu's.
