The Garga-samhita Verse 3.10.3, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 10 (The Glory of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कृत्वा कार्यं गृहं गच्छन्
गोवर्धन-तटीं गतः
वर्तुलं तत्र पाषाणं
चैकं जग्राह मैथिल

kṛtvā kāryaṃ gṛhaṃ gacchan
govardhana-taṭīṃ gataḥ
vartulaṃ tatra pāṣāṇaṃ
caikaṃ jagrāha maithila

kṛtvā—doing; kāryam—duty; gṛham—home; gacchan—going; govardhana-taṭīm—to Govardhana Hill; gataḥ—went; vartulam—round; tatra—there; pāṣāṇam—stone; ca—and; ekam—one; jagrāha—took; maithilaO king of Mithilā.

English translation of verse 3.10.3:

O king of Mithilā, after performing his religious duties, he went to Govardhana Hill and took one of the stones there.
