The Garga-samhita Verse 3.9.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 9 (The Birth of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कटि-देशात् स्वर्ण-भूमेर्
दिव्य-रत्न-खचित्-प्रभा
उदरे रोम-राजिश् च
माधव्यो विस्तृता लताः

kaṭi-deśāt svarṇa-bhūmer
divya-ratna-khacit-prabhā
udare roma-rājiś ca
mādhavyo vistṛtā latāḥ

kaṭi-deśāt—from His hips; svarṇa-bhūmeḥ—a golden land; divya-ratna-khacit-prabhāsplendid with glittering jewerls; udare—on the belly; roma-rājiḥthe line of hairs; ca—and; mādhavyaḥ—madhavi; vistṛtā—expanded; latāḥ—vines.

English translation of verse 3.9.15:

A golden place splendid with gold and jewels was manifested from His hips.

Many flowering mādhavī vines were manifested from the line of hairs on His abdomen.
