The Garga-samhita Verse 3.7.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 7 (The Holy Places of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-भगवान् उवाच
कंसं हनिष्यामि महोग्र-दण्डं
स-बान्धवं मे शपथो गवां च
एवं करिष्यामि यदोः पुरे बलान्
नेष्ये सदाहं गिरिराज-भूमेः

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
kaṃsaṃ haniṣyāmi mahogra-daṇḍaṃ
sa-bāndhavaṃ me śapatho gavāṃ ca
evaṃ kariṣyāmi yadoḥ pure balān
neṣye sadāhaṃ girirāja-bhūmeḥ

śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; kaṃsam—Kaṃsa; haniṣyāmi—I will kill; mahogra-daṇḍamferocious; sa-bāndhavam—with his friends; me—of Me; śapathaḥ—a vow; gavām—of the cows; ca—and; evam—thus; kariṣyāmi—I will do; yadoḥ—of the Yadus; pure—in the city; balān—forcibly; neṣye—I will bring; sadāalways; aham—I; girirāja-bhūmeḥ—on Govardhana Hill.

English translation of verse 3.7.18:

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: I will kill ferocious Kaṃsa and all his friends. That is My solemn vow. Every day I will take the cows from Mathurā to Govardhana Hill.
