The Garga-samhita Verse 3.5.12, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 5 (The Dispute Among the Gopas) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

सम्प्रलीनश् च षट्-पूर्णा
यस्मिन् छब्दे महात्मानि
परिपूर्णतमे साक्षात्
तेन कृष्णः प्रकीर्तितः

sampralīnaś ca ṣaṭ-pūrṇā
yasmin chabde mahātmāni
paripūrṇatame sākṣāt
tena kṛṣṇaḥ prakīrtitaḥ

sampralīnaḥ—entered; ca—and; ṣaṭ—six; pūrṇāfull; yasminin which; chabde—sopund; mahātmāni—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; paripūrṇatame—perfect and complete; sākṣātdirectky; tena—by that; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; prakīrtitaḥ—is called.

English translation of verse 3.5.12:

These six letters combine to form the name of the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is perfect and complete. That is why this boy is named Kṛṣṇa.
