The Garga-samhita Verse 3.2.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 2 (The Great Festival of Shri Giriraja) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-नारद उवाच
इत्य् उक्त्वा स्व-जनैः सार्धं
एत्य गोवर्धनं हरिः
समुत्पाट्य दधाराद्रिं
हस्तेनैकेन लीलया

śrī-nārada uvāca
ity uktvā sva-janaiḥ sārdhaṃ
etya govardhanaṃ hariḥ
samutpāṭya dadhārādriṃ
hastenaikena līlayā

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said: ; ity—thus; uktvā—saying; sva-janaiḥ—with his own people; sārdham—with; etyagoing; govardhanam—to Govardhana Hill; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa; samutpāṭya—lifting; dadhāra—held; adrim—the hill; hastena—hand; ekena—with one; līlayā—playfully.

English translation of verse 3.2.15:

Śrī Nārada said: After speaking these words, Lord Kṛṣṇa went, with His own people, to Govardhana Hill. Lifting the hill, Kṛṣṇa playfully held it aloft with one hand.
