अथ मेघ-गणाः क्रुद्धा
ध्वनन्तश् चित्र-वर्णिनः
कृष्णाभाः पीतभाः केचित्
केचिच् च हरित-प्रभाः

atha megha-gaṇāḥ kruddhā
dhvanantaś citra-varṇinaḥ
kṛṣṇābhāḥ pītabhāḥ kecit
kecic ca harita-prabhāḥ

athathen; megha-gaṇāḥthe clouds; kruddhāangry; dhvanantaś—thundering; citra-varṇinaḥ—wonderfully colored; kṛṣṇābhāḥ—black; pītabhāḥ—yellow; kecit—some; kecic—some; ca—and; harita-prabhāḥ—green.
