पुष्पाञ्जलिं ततः कुर्यान्
नीराजनम् अतः परम्
घण्टा-कंस्य-मृदङ्गाद्यैर्
वादित्रैर् मधुर-स्वनैः
puṣpāñjaliṃ tataḥ kuryān
nīrājanam ataḥ param
ghaṇṭā-kaṃsya-mṛdaṅgādyair
vāditrair madhura-svanaiḥ
puṣpa—of flowers; añjalim—handful; tataḥ—then; kuryān—should do; nīrājanam—arati; ataḥ param—then; ghaṇṭā-kaṃsya—karatals; mṛdaṅga—mrdangas; ādyaiḥ—beginning with; vāditraiḥ—with musical instruments; madhura-svanaiḥ—with sweet sounds.
English translation of verse 3.1.21:
Then he should offer a handful of flowers and then, as mṛdaṅgas, karatālas and other musical instruments make sweet sounds, he should offer ārati to Govardhana Hill.
