The Garga-samhita Verse 2.25.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-द्वार-पालिका ऊचुः
सर्वतो वृन्दकारण्यं
कोटिशः कोटिशो वयम्
रास-रक्षां सदा कुर्मो
न्यस्ता कृष्णेन भो द्विजौ

śrī-dvāra-pālikā ūcuḥ
sarvato vṛndakāraṇyaṃ
koṭiśaḥ koṭiśo vayam
rāsa-rakṣāṃ sadā kurmo
nyastā kṛṣṇena bho dvijau

śrī-dvāra-pālikā ūcuḥ—the gatekeepers said; sarvataḥ—everywhere; vṛndakāraṇyam—in Vṛndāvana; koṭiśaḥ koṭiśaḥ—in millions and millions; vayam—we; rāsa-rakṣām—protecting the rasa dance; sadāalways; kurmaḥ—do; nyastā—placed; kṛṣṇena—by Lord Kṛṣṇa; bhaḥ—O; dvijau—brāhmaṇas.

English translation of verse 2.25.5:

The entrance guards said: There are many millions of millions of us everywhere in Vṛndāvana. Appointed by Lord Kṛṣṇa, we eternally guard the rāsa dance.
