एवं विचिन्त्य मनसा
शिवो वासुरिणा सह
तौ कृष्ण-दऋष्णार्थाय
जग्मतुर् व्रज-मण्डलम्
evaṃ vicintya manasā
śivo vāsuriṇā saha
tau kṛṣṇa-daṛṣṇārthāya
jagmatur vraja-maṇḍalam
evam—thus; vicintya—considering; manasā—with his heart; śivaḥ—Lord Śiva; vā—or; āsuriṇā—Asuri Muni; saha—with; tau—both; kṛṣṇa—of Lord Kṛṣṇa; daṛṣṇa—the sight; arthāya—for the purpose; jagmatuḥ—went; vraja-maṇḍalam—to the circle of Vraja.
English translation of verse 2.25.1:
Thinking in this way, Śiva and Asuri went to the circle of Vraja to see Lord Kṛṣṇa.
