The Garga-samhita Verse 2.25.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 25 (The Rasa-dance Pastime) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

एवं विचिन्त्य मनसा
शिवो वासुरिणा सह
तौ कृष्ण-दऋष्णार्थाय
जग्मतुर् व्रज-मण्डलम्

evaṃ vicintya manasā
śivo vāsuriṇā saha
tau kṛṣṇa-daṛṣṇārthāya
jagmatur vraja-maṇḍalam

evam—thus; vicintyaconsidering; manasāwith his heart; śivaḥLord Śiva; vā—or; āsuriṇā—Asuri Muni; sahawith; tau—both; kṛṣṇaof Lord Kṛṣṇa; daṛṣṇa—the sight; arthāya—for the purpose; jagmatuḥ—went; vraja-maṇḍalam—to the circle of Vraja.

English translation of verse 2.25.1:

Thinking in this way, Śiva and Asuri went to the circle of Vraja to see Lord Kṛṣṇa.
