काश्चित् प्रौढाः प्रेम-पराः
श्री-कृष्णे लग्न-मानसाः
जरा-धर्मेण गोविन्दं
काश्चिद् गोप्यो भजन्ति हि
kāścit prauḍhāḥ prema-parāḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇe lagna-mānasāḥ
jarā-dharmeṇa govindaṃ
kāścid gopyo bhajanti hi
kāścit—some; prauḍhāḥ—agressive and independent; prema-parāḥ—filled with love; śrī-kṛṣṇe—to Śrī Kṛṣṇa; lagna—attached; mānasāḥ—whose hearts; jarā-dharmeṇa—with the relationship of a paramour; govindam—Kṛṣṇa; kāścit—some; gopyaḥ—gopīs; bhajanti—worshiped; hi—indeed.
English translation of verse 2.24.10:
Some were agressive and independent, some were passionately in love, their hearts attached to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and some worshiped Kṛṣṇa as their paramour.
