तस्मै चिक्षेप भगवान्
शाल-वृक्षं भुजौजसा
तेन घातेन पतितो
वृक्षो वात-हतो यथा
tasmai cikṣepa bhagavān
śāla-vṛkṣaṃ bhujaujasā
tena ghātena patito
vṛkṣo vāta-hato yathā

With His mighty arm the Lord threw the śāla tree at him. The demon fell like a tree struck by a hurricane.
