The Garga-samhita Verse 2.23.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
अथ कृष्णो गोपिकाभिर्
लोहजाङ्घवनं ययौ
वसन्त-माधवीभिश् च
लताभिः सङ्कुलं नृप

śrī-nārada uvāca
atha kṛṣṇo gopikābhir
lohajāṅghavanaṃ yayau
vasanta-mādhavībhiś ca
latābhiḥ saṅkulaṃ nṛpa

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; athathen; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; gopikābhiḥ—with the gopīs; lohajāṅghavanam——to Lohajāṅghavana; yayau—went; vasantaspringtime; mādhavībhiḥ—witn madhavi vines; ca—and; latābhiḥ—with vines; saṅkulam—filled; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 2.23.1:

Śrī Nārada said: O king, then Lord Kṛṣṇa and the gopīs went to Lohajaṅghavana forest, which was filled with flowering mādhavī vines.
