The Garga-samhita Verse 2.22.37, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 22 (The Rasa-dance Pastime) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

अथ कृष्णः कलं गायन्
मालाम् आ-जानु-लम्बिताम्
वैजयन्तीम् आदधानः
श्री-भाण्डीरं जगाम ह

atha kṛṣṇaḥ kalaṃ gāyan
mālām ā-jānu-lambitām
vaijayantīm ādadhānaḥ
śrī-bhāṇḍīraṃ jagāma ha

athathen; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; kalamsweetly; gāyan—singing; mālām—garland; ā-jānu-lambitām—hanging down to His knees; vaijayantīm—vaijayanti; ādadhānaḥ—wearing; śrī-bhāṇḍīram—to Bhandiravana; jagāma—went; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 2.22.37:

Then Lord Kṛṣṇa, wearing a vaijayantī garland that hung to His knees, and sweetly singing as He went, traveled to Bhāṇḍīravana forest.
