तत्रैव पर्वते कृष्णो
ननाद मुरली-कलम्
मुर्च्छिता विह्वला जातास्
तन्-नादेन व्रजाङ्गनाः
tatraiva parvate kṛṣṇo
nanāda muralī-kalam
murcchitā vihvalā jātās
tan-nādena vrajāṅganāḥ
tatra—there; eva—indeed; parvate—on the hill; kṛṣṇaḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa; nanāda—enjoyed; muralī-kalam—the sweet sound of the flute; murcchitā—fainted; vihvalā—overcome; jātāḥ—manifested; tan-nadena—by that sound; vrajāṅganāḥ—the girls of Vraja.
English translation of verse 2.21.5:
On a hill there Lord Kṛṣṇa sweetly played the flute. That music made the girls of Vraja faint.
