The Garga-samhita Verse 2.19.37, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 19 (The Rasa-dance Pastime) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

विरेजुः कृष्णचन्द्रैश् च
यथा शक्रैः सुराङ्गनाः
वरं विहारं कृष्णायां
चकार मधुसूदनः

virejuḥ kṛṣṇacandraiś ca
yathā śakraiḥ surāṅganāḥ
varaṃ vihāraṃ kṛṣṇāyāṃ
cakāra madhusūdanaḥ

virejuḥ—they shone; kṛṣṇacandraiḥ—with many Kṛṣṇacandras; ca—and; yathā—as; śakraiḥ—with Indras; surāṅganāḥdemigoddesses; varamexcellent; vihāram—pastime; kṛṣṇāyām—in the Yamunā; cakāradid; madhusūdanaḥ—Kṛṣṇa.

English translation of verse 2.19.37:

The gopīs shone with many Lord Kṛṣṇacandras as the demigoddesses shine with many Indras. Then Lord Kṛṣṇa enjoyed pastimes in the Yamunā.
