ललितया विशाखाया
माया-यूथाः समाययौ
एवं त्व् अष्ट-सखीनां च
सखीनां किल षोडश
lalitayā viśākhāyā
māyā-yūthāḥ samāyayau
evaṃ tv aṣṭa-sakhīnāṃ ca
sakhīnāṃ kila ṣoḍaśa
lalitāyāḥ—of lalitā; viśākhāyāḥ—of Viśākhā; māyā—of Goddess Lakṣmī; yūthāḥ—the groups; samāyayau—came; evam—thus; tv—indeed; aṣṭa—eight; sakhīnām—of friends; ca—and; sakhīnām—of gopī friends; kila—indeed; ṣoḍaśa—sixteen.
English translation of verse 2.19.23:
Then the groups led by Lalitā, Viśākhā, and goddess Lakṣmī came. In this way the eight principal friends of Śrī Rādhā came and sixteen more friends also came.
