तथाययौ कृष्ण-पत्नी
नाम्ना या मधु-माधवी
पद्म-वर्णा पुष्प-भूषा
यूथी-भूता शुभाम्बरा
tathāyayau kṛṣṇa-patnī
nāmnā yā madhu-mādhavī
padma-varṇā puṣpa-bhūṣā
yūthī-bhūtā śubhāmbarā
tathā—then; āyayau—came; kṛṣṇa-patnī—Lord Kṛṣṇa's wife; nāmnā—by the name; yā—who; madhu-mādhavī—madhumādhavī; padma—of a lotus; varṇā—the color; puṣpa-bhūṣā—decorated with flowers; yūthī-bhūtā—becoming a gopī; śubhāmbarā—with splendid garments.
English translation of verse 2.19.21:
Then Lord Kṛṣṇa's wife named Madhumādhavī become a lotus-complexioned, dressed in beautiful garments and decorated with flowers leader of a group of gopīs, and she also came there.
