तथैव जह्नवी गङ्गा
यूथी-भूत्वा समाययौ
श्वेताम्बरा श्वेत-वर्णा
मुक्ताभरण-भूषिता
tathaiva jahnavī gaṅgā
yūthī-bhūtvā samāyayau
śvetāmbarā śveta-varṇā
muktābharaṇa-bhūṣitā
tathā—so; eva—indeed; jahnavī gaṅgā—the Gaṅgā;yūthī-bhūtvā samāyayau—becoming a gopī; śveta-varṇā—with a fair complexion; muktābharaṇa-bhūṣitā—decorated with pearls.
English translation of verse 2.19.19:
Then the Gaṅgā became a fair-complexioned, dressed in white and decorated with pearls leader of a group of gopīs, and she also came there.
