The Garga-samhita Verse 2.19.19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तथैव जह्नवी गङ्गा
यूथी-भूत्वा समाययौ
श्वेताम्बरा श्वेत-वर्णा
मुक्ताभरण-भूषिता

tathaiva jahnavī gaṅgā
yūthī-bhūtvā samāyayau
śvetāmbarā śveta-varṇā
muktābharaṇa-bhūṣitā

tathā—so; eva—indeed; jahnavī gaṅgāthe Gaṅgā;yūthī-bhūtvā samāyayau—becoming a gopī; śveta-varṇāwith a fair complexion; muktābharaṇa-bhūṣitā—decorated with pearls.

English translation of verse 2.19.19:

Then the Gaṅgā became a fair-complexioned, dressed in white and decorated with pearls leader of a group of gopīs, and she also came there.
