The Garga-samhita Verse 2.18.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 18 (The Sight of Shri Krishnacandra) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

गच्छन् निजं जनम् अनु प्रपुनाति लोकान्
आवेदयन् हरि-जने स्व-रुचिं महात्मा
तस्माद् अतीव भजतां भगवान् मुकुन्दो
मुक्तिं ददाति न कदापि सु-भक्ति-योगम्

gacchan nijaṃ janam anu prapunāti lokān
āvedayan hari-jane sva-ruciṃ mahātmā
tasmād atīva bhajatāṃ bhagavān mukundo
muktiṃ dadāti na kadāpi su-bhakti-yogam

gacchan—going; nijam—to His own; janam—people; anu—following; prapunāti—pruifies; lokān—the people; āvedayan—proclaiming; hari-jane—for the devotees; sva-rucim—His own love; mahātmāthe Lord; tasmāt—from that; atīvagreatlly; bhajatām—of the devotees; bhagavānthe Lord; mukundaḥMukunda; muktim—liberation; dadāti—gives; na—not; kadāpi—ever; su-bhakti-yogam—pure devotional service.

English translation of verse 2.18.27:

Following His devotees here and there, He purifies the worlds. He loudly declares His love for His devotees. To those who worship Him, Lord Kṛṣṇa easily gives liberation, but He does not easily give pure devotional service.
