The Garga-samhita Verse 2.18.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. भक्तात् प्रियो न विदितः पुरुषोत्तमस्य
शम्भुर् विधिर् न च रमा न च रौहिणेयः
भक्तान् अनुव्रजति भक्ति-निबद्ध-चित्तस्
चूडा-मणिः सकल-लोक-जनस्य कृष्णः
bhaktāt priyo na viditaḥ puruṣottamasya
śambhur vidhir na ca ramā na ca rauhiṇeyaḥ
bhaktān anuvrajati bhakti-nibaddha-cittas
cūḍā-maṇiḥ sakala-loka-janasya kṛṣṇaḥ
bhaktāt—than a devotee; priyaḥ—more dear; na—not; viditaḥ—known; puruṣottamasya—of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; śambhuḥ—of śiva; vidhiḥ—Brahmā; na—not; ca—and; ramā—the goddess of fortune; na—not; ca—and; rauhiṇeyaḥ—Balarāma; bhaktān—the devotees; anuvrajati—follows; bhakti—with devotion; nibaddha—bound; cittaḥ—heart; cūḍā-maṇiḥ—the crest jewel; sakala-loka-janasya—of all people; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa.
English translation of verse 2.18.26:
To Him, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, no one is more dear than His devotee. Neither Śiva, Brahmā, Lakṣmī, nor Balarāma is more dear. Lord Kṛṣṇa, the crest-jewel of all persons, His heart now bound with love, becomes the humble follower of His devotees.
