The Garga-samhita Verse 2.18.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 18 (The Sight of Shri Krishnacandra) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

भक्तात् प्रियो न विदितः पुरुषोत्तमस्य
शम्भुर् विधिर् न च रमा न च रौहिणेयः
भक्तान् अनुव्रजति भक्ति-निबद्ध-चित्तस्
चूडा-मणिः सकल-लोक-जनस्य कृष्णः

bhaktāt priyo na viditaḥ puruṣottamasya
śambhur vidhir na ca ramā na ca rauhiṇeyaḥ
bhaktān anuvrajati bhakti-nibaddha-cittas
cūḍā-maṇiḥ sakala-loka-janasya kṛṣṇaḥ

English translation of verse 2.18.26:

To Him, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, no one is more dear than His devotee. Neither Śiva, Brahmā, Lakṣmī, nor Balarāma is more dear. Lord Kṛṣṇa, the crest-jewel of all persons, His heart now bound with love, becomes the humble follower of His devotees.
