भाण्डं स भित्त्वा दधि किं च पीत्वा
नीत्वोत्तरीयं मम चेद् उरीयम्
नन्दीश्वराद्रेर् विदिशं जगाम
तेनाहम् आराद् विमनाः स्म जाता
bhāṇḍaṃ sa bhittvā dadhi kiṃ ca pītvā
nītvottarīyaṃ mama ced urīyam
nandīśvarādrer vidiśaṃ jagāma
tenāham ārād vimanāḥ sma jātā
bhāṇḍaṃthe pot; sa—He; bhittvā—breaking; dadhi—yogurt; kiṃ ca—furthermore; pītvā—drinking; nītvā—taking; uttarīyam—bodice; mama—My; cet—if; urīyam—on the breasts; nandīśvarādreḥ—of Nandīśvara Hill; vidiśam—in the direction; jagāma—went; tena—by Him; aham—I; ārāt—from afar; vimanāḥ—depressed; sma—indeed; jātā—become.
English translation of verse 2.18.17:
After breaking the pot, He drank the yogurt, grabbed My bodice, and then ran off toward Nandīśvara Hill. That is why I am unhappy.
