The Garga-samhita Verse 2.18.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 18 (The Sight of Shri Krishnacandra) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

तुभ्यं न दस्यामि कदापि दानं
स्वयम्भुवे गोरस-लम्पटाय
एवं मयोक्ते वचने ऽथ भाण्डं
नीत्वा विशीर्णी-कृतवान् स दध्नः

tubhyaṃ na dasyāmi kadāpi dānaṃ
svayambhuve gorasa-lampaṭāya
evaṃ mayokte vacane 'tha bhāṇḍaṃ
nītvā viśīrṇī-kṛtavān sa dadhnaḥ

tubhyaṃto You; na—not; dasyāmi—I will give; kadāpi—ever; dānammoney; svayambhuve—independent; gorasafor milk products; lampaṭāya—greedy; evam—thus; mayāby Me; ukte—spoken; vacane—words; athathen; bhāṇḍam—the pot; nītvā—taking; viśīrṇī-kṛtavān—broke; saḥ—He; dadhnaḥ—of yogurt.

English translation of verse 2.18.16:

When I said, "I will never pay anything to You, a rake greedy after yogurt", He took the yogurt-pot and broke it.
