तुभ्यं न दस्यामि कदापि दानं
स्वयम्भुवे गोरस-लम्पटाय
एवं मयोक्ते वचने ऽथ भाण्डं
नीत्वा विशीर्णी-कृतवान् स दध्नः
tubhyaṃ na dasyāmi kadāpi dānaṃ
svayambhuve gorasa-lampaṭāya
evaṃ mayokte vacane 'tha bhāṇḍaṃ
nītvā viśīrṇī-kṛtavān sa dadhnaḥ
tubhyaṃto You; na—not; dasyāmi—I will give; kadāpi—ever; dānam—money; svayambhuve—independent; gorasa—for milk products; lampaṭāya—greedy; evam—thus; mayā—by Me; ukte—spoken; vacane—words; atha—then; bhāṇḍam—the pot; nītvā—taking; viśīrṇī-kṛtavān—broke; saḥ—He; dadhnaḥ—of yogurt.
English translation of verse 2.18.16:
When I said, "I will never pay anything to You, a rake greedy after yogurt", He took the yogurt-pot and broke it.
