The Garga-samhita Verse 2.18.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 18 (The Sight of Shri Krishnacandra) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

वंशी-धरो वेत्र-करः करे मां
त्वरं गृहीत्वा प्रहसन् विलज्जः
मह्यं करादान-धनाय दानं
देहीति जल्पन् विपिने रसज्ञः

vaṃśī-dharo vetra-karaḥ kare māṃ
tvaraṃ gṛhītvā prahasan vilajjaḥ
mahyaṃ karādāna-dhanāya dānaṃ
dehīti jalpan vipine rasajñaḥ

vaṃśīa flute; dharaḥholding; vetraa stick; karaḥin His hand; karein the hand; mām—Me; tvaram—quickly; gṛhītvātaking; prahasan—laughing; vilajjaḥ—shameless; mahyam—to Me; karādāna-dhanāya—to pay atoll; dānampayment; dehigive; iti—thus; jalpan—speaking; vipine—in the forest; rasajñaḥ—expert at tasting nectar.

English translation of verse 2.18.15:

Carrying a flute and holding a stick in His hand, the shameless fellow grabbed My hand, laughed, and said: "Now You must pay a tax to Me!" Talking in this way, He enjoyed in the forest.
