मार्ग-खेदेन वा कच्चिद्
विह्वलाभूद् रुजाथवा
शीघ्रं वद महा-भागे
स्वस्य दुःखस्य कारणम्
mārga-khedena vā kaccid
vihvalābhūd rujāthavā
śīghraṃ vada mahā-bhāge
svasya duḥkhasya kāraṇam
mārga—on the path; khedena—by trouble; va—or; kaccit—something; vihvalā—agitated; abhūt——became; rujā—with sickness; athavā—or; śīghram—for a long time; vada—tell; mahā-bhāge—O beautiful one; svasya—own; duḥkhasya—suffering; kāraṇam—the cause.
