श्री-नारद उवाच
इति श्रुत्वाथ तद्-वाक्यं
विमना गोपदेवता
न किञ्चिद् ऊचे श्री-राधां
दुःखितेव व्यवस्थिता
śrī-nārada uvāca
iti śrutvātha tad-vākyaṃ
vimanā gopadevatā
na kiñcid ūce śrī-rādhāṃ
duḥkhiteva vyavasthitā
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; śrutvā—hearing; atha—then; tad-vākyam—Her words; vimanā—sad; gopadevatā—Gopadevatā; na—not; kiñcit—anything; ūce—sdaid; śrī-rādhām—to Śrī Rādhā; duḥkhitā—unhappy; iva—as if; vyavasthitā—situated.
English translation of verse 2.18.4:
Śrī Nārada said: Hearing these words, Gopadevatā became sad. As if She were morose, She did not say anything to Śrī Rādhā.
