श्री-चन्द्राननोवाच
परं सौभाग्य-दं राधे
महा-पुण्यं वर-प्रदम्
श्री-कृष्णस्यापि लब्ध्य्-अर्थं
तुलसी-सेवनं मतम्
śrī-candrānanovāca
paraṃ saubhāgya-daṃ rādhe
mahā-puṇyaṃ vara-pradam
śrī-kṛṣṇasyāpi labdhy-arthaṃ
tulasī-sevanaṃ matam
śrī-candrānanā uvāca—Śrī Candrānanā said; param—great; saubhāgya-dam—giving good fortune; rādhe—O Rādhā; mahā-puṇyam—very sacred; vara-pradam—granting blessings; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; api—even; labdhy-artham—to attain; tulasī—of Tulasī; sevanam—the service; matam—is considered.
English translation of verse 2.16.2:
Śrī Candrānanā said: O Rādhā, service to Tulasī gives the greatest piety, the greatest good fortune, and the greatest benediction. It gives Lord Kṛṣṇa's association.
