The Garga-samhita Verse 2.15.36, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 15 (Description of Shri Radha-Krishna’s Falling in Love) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तथापि देवि कृष्णाय
कर्म निष्कारणं कुरु
येन ते वाञ्छितं भूयाद्
भक्त्या परमया सति

tathāpi devi kṛṣṇāya
karma niṣkāraṇaṃ kuru
yena te vāñchitaṃ bhūyād
bhaktyā paramayā sati

tathāpi—still; deviO goddess; kṛṣṇāya—for Kṛṣṇa; karmawork; niṣkāraṇam—causeless; kurudo; yena—by which; te—of You; vāñchitam—desired; bhūyāt—may be; bhaktyā—with devotion; paramayā—great; satiO saintly one.

English translation of verse 2.15.36:

O goddess, You should serve Kṛṣṇa without any other desire. O saintly one, by serving Him with great devotion, Your desire will be fulfilled.
