श्री-नारद उवाच
ललितायाश् च ललितं
वचः श्रुत्वा व्रजेश्वरी
नेत्रे उन्मील्य ललितां
प्राह गद्गदया गिरा
śrī-nārada uvāca
lalitāyāś ca lalitaṃ
vacaḥ śrutvā vrajeśvarī
netre unmīlya lalitāṃ
prāha gadgadayā girā
śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; lalitāyāś—of Lalitā; ca—and; lalitam—eloquent; vacaḥ—words; śrutvā—hearing; vrajeśvarī—the queen of Vraja; netre—eyes; unmīlya—opening; lalitām—to lalitā; prāha—said; gadgadayā—choked up; girā—with a voice.
English translation of verse 2.15.21:
Śrī Nārada said: Hearing Lalitā's graceful words, Vraja's goddess, Rādhā, opened Her eyes and spoke in a faltering voice.
