The Garga-samhita Verse 2.15.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 15 (Description of Shri Radha-Krishna’s Falling in Love) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

लोकस्यापि सुखं सर्वं
अधिकृत्यास्ति साम्प्रतम्
दुःखाग्नि-हृत् प्रदहति
कुम्भकाराग्नि-वच् छुभे

lokasyāpi sukhaṃ sarvaṃ
adhikṛtyāsti sāmpratam
duḥkhāgni-hṛt pradahati
kumbhakārāgni-vac chubhe

lokasya—of the world; api—even; sukham—the happiness; sarvam—all; adhikṛtya—attaining; astiis; sāmpratam—now; duḥkhaof misery; agnifire; hṛt—heart; pradahati—burns; kumbhakārāgni-vat—like a potter's fire; śubhe—O beautiful one.

English translation of verse 2.15.20:

O beautiful one, even now that You have found the person that brings all happiness to the world, Your heart still burns like the fire in a potter's kiln.
