एवं ततः कृष्ण-वियोग-विह्वलां
प्रभूत-काम-ज्वर-खिन्न-मानसाम्
सम्वीक्ष्य राधां वृषभानु-नन्दिनीं
उवाच वाचं ललिता सखी वरा
evaṃ tataḥ kṛṣṇa-viyoga-vihvalāṃ
prabhūta-kāma-jvara-khinna-mānasām
samvīkṣya rādhāṃ vṛṣabhānu-nandinīṃ
uvāca vācaṃ lalitā sakhī varā
evam—thus; tataḥ—from that; kṛṣṇa-viyoga-vihvalām—anxious in separation from Kṛṣṇa; prabhūta-kāma-jvara—by the flames of desire; khinna—tormented; mānasām—heart; samvīkṣya—seeing; rādhām—Rādhā; vṛṣabhānu-nandinīm—Vṛṣabhānu's daughter; uvāca—said; vācam—words; lalitā—Lalitā; sakhī—friend; varā—best.
English translation of verse 2.15.18:
Seeing Her anguished by Kṛṣṇa's absence and Her heart tortured by flames of love for Him, beautiful Lalitā-sakhī spoke to Vṛṣabhānu's daughter Rādhā.
