The Garga-samhita Verse 2.15.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 15 (Description of Shri Radha-Krishna’s Falling in Love) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कृष्णो ऽपि दृष्ट्वा वृषभानु-नन्दिनीं
सुरूप-कौशल्य-युतां गुणाश्रयाम्
कुर्वन् मनो रन्तुम् अतीव माधवो
लीला-तनुः स प्रययौ स्व-मन्दिरम्

kṛṣṇo 'pi dṛṣṭvā vṛṣabhānu-nandinīṃ
surūpa-kauśalya-yutāṃ guṇāśrayām
kurvan mano rantum atīva mādhavo
līlā-tanuḥ sa prayayau sva-mandiram

kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; api—also; dṛṣṭvāseeing; vṛṣabhānu-nandinīm—the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu; surūpa-kauśalya-yutam—beautiful; guṇāśrayam—where many transcendental virtues are sheltered; kurvan—doing; manaḥthe heart; rantum—to rejoice; atīvagreatly; mādhavaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; līlā-tanuḥ—pastime form; sa—He; prayayau—went; sva-mandiram—to His own palace.

English translation of verse 2.15.17:

Glancing at Vṛṣabhānu's beautiful daughter Rādhā, who sheltered a host of transcendental virtues, and deciding in His heart to enjoy with Her, playful Kṛṣṇa went on to His own palace.
