The Garga-samhita Verse 2.15.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 15 (Description of Shri Radha-Krishna’s Falling in Love) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

ददर्श कृष्णं भवने शयाना
घन-प्रभं पीत-पटं दधानम्
भाण्डीर-देशे यमुनां समेत्य
नृत्यन्तम् आराद् वृषभानु-पुत्री

dadarśa kṛṣṇaṃ bhavane śayānā
ghana-prabhaṃ pīta-paṭaṃ dadhānam
bhāṇḍīra-deśe yamunāṃ sametya
nṛtyantam ārād vṛṣabhānu-putrī

dadarśa—saw; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; bhavane—in Her home; śayānā—resting; ghana-prabham—splendid as a monsoon cloud; pīta-paṭam—wearing yellow garments; dadhānam—wearing; bhāṇḍīra-deśe—in Bhandiravana; yamunām—to the Yamunā; sametya—going; nṛtyantam—dancing; ārāt—near; vṛṣabhānu-putrīVṛṣabhānu's daughter.

English translation of verse 2.15.14:

As She slept in Her home, Vṛṣabhānu's daughter Rādhā dreamed of going to the Yamunā, where She gazed at Kṛṣṇa, dark as a monsoon cloud, dressed in yellow garments, and dancing in Bhāṇḍīravana forest.
