श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
श्री-कृष्णस्य कथां श्रुत्वा
भक्तस् तृप्तिं न याति हि
यथामरः सुधां पित्वा
यथालिः पद्म-कर्णिकाम्
śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
śrī-kṛṣṇasya kathāṃ śrutvā
bhaktas tṛptiṃ na yāti hi
yathāmaraḥ sudhāṃ pitvā
yathāliḥ padma-karṇikām
śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; katham—the topics; śrutvā—hearing; bhaktaḥ—the devotee; tṛptim—satiation; na—not; yāti—attains; hi—indeed; yathā—as; amaraḥ—a demigod; sudhām—nectar; pitvā—drinking; yathā—as; aliḥ—a bee; padma—of a lotus; karṇikām—the whorl.
English translation of verse 2.15.2:
Śrī Bahulāśva said: As a demigod never tires of drinking nectar and a bee never tires of drinking from the whorl of a lotus, so a devotee never tires of hearing Śrī Kṛṣṇa's pastimes.
