The Garga-samhita Verse 2.15.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 15 (Description of Shri Radha-Krishna’s Falling in Love) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-नारद उवाच
इदं मया ते कथितं
कालियस्यापि मर्दनम्
श्री-कृष्ण-चरितं पुण्यं
किं भूयः श्रोतुम् इच्छसि

śrī-nārada uvāca
idaṃ mayā te kathitaṃ
kāliyasyāpi mardanam
śrī-kṛṣṇa-caritaṃ puṇyaṃ
kiṃ bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; idam—this; mayāby me; te—to you; kathitam—told; kāliyasya—of Kaliya; api—also; mardanam—the defeat; śrī-kṛṣṇa-caritam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa's pastimes; puṇyam—sacred; kim—what?; bhūyaḥ—more; śrotum—to her; icchasi—you wish.

English translation of verse 2.15.1:

Śrī Nārada said: I have recounted to you Śrī Kṛṣṇa's sacred pastime of crushing Kāliya. What more do you wish to hear?
