The Garga-samhita Verse 2.14.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. तदागतः प्रकुपितो
वेगतः कालियोपरि
चकार पाद-वीक्षेपं
गरुडश् चण्ड-विक्रमः

tadāgataḥ prakupito
vegataḥ kāliyopari
cakāra pāda-vīkṣepaṃ
garuḍaś caṇḍa-vikramaḥ

tadāthen; āgataḥcame; prakupitaḥ—angry; vegataḥ—violently; kāliyopari—on kaliya; cakāradid; pāda-vīkṣepam—kicking; garuḍaḥGaruḍa; caṇḍa-vikramaḥpowerful.

English translation of verse 2.14.8:

When powerful Garuḍa came he was very angry. He forcefully kicked Kāliya.
