The Garga-samhita Verse 2.13.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 13 (The Story of Shesha) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-अश्वशिरा उवाच
महा-विष्णोर् इयं भूमिर्
न ते मे मुनि-सत्तम
कतिभिर् मुनिभिश् चात्र
न कृतं तप उत्तमम्

śrī-aśvaśirā uvāca
mahā-viṣṇor iyaṃ bhūmir
na te me muni-sattama
katibhir munibhiś cātra
na kṛtaṃ tapa uttamam

śrī-aśvaśirā uvāca—Aśvaśirā said; mahā-viṣṇoḥ—of Lord mahā-Viṣṇu; iyamthis; bhūmiḥplace; na—not; te—of you; me—of me; muni-sattamaO best of sages; katibhiḥ—by how many?; munibhiś—sages; ca—and; atra—here; na—not; kṛtam—done; tapaausterities; uttamam—great.

English translation of verse 2.13.7:

Śrī Aśvaśirā said: O best of sages, this place belongs to Lord Mahā-Viṣṇu. It does not belong to you or me. Have not many sages already performed great austerities here?
