The Garga-samhita Verse 2.12.23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 12 (Subduing Kaliya and Drinking the Forest Fire) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-भगवान् उवाच
द्वीपं रमणकं गच्छ
स-कलत्र-सुहृद्-वृतः
सुपर्णो ऽद्यतनात् त्वं वै
नाद्यान् मत्-पाद-लञ्छितम्

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
dvīpaṃ ramaṇakaṃ gaccha
sa-kalatra-suhṛd-vṛtaḥ
suparṇo 'dyatanāt tvaṃ vai
nādyān mat-pāda-lañchitam

śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; dvīpam ramaṇakaṃ-Ramanaka-dvipa; gacchago; sa-kalatrawith wives; suhṛtfriends; vṛtaḥwith; suparṇaḥgaruḍa; adyatanāt—from today; tvam—you; vai—indeed; na—not; adyāt—will eat; mat-pāda-lañchitam—My footprint.

English translation of verse 2.12.23:

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: With Your wives and relatives go the Ramaṇaka-dvīpa. From today on Garuḍa will not eat you, because you are marked with My footprints.
