The Garga-samhita Verse 2.11.12, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 11 (The Liberation of Dhenukasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

मूर्ध्नि कृत्वा चतुः-शृङ्गं
धृत्वा रूपं भयङ्करम्
गोपान् विद्रावयाम् आस
शृङ्गैस् तीक्ष्नैर् भयङ्करैः

mūrdhni kṛtvā catuḥ-śṛṅgaṃ
dhṛtvā rūpaṃ bhayaṅkaram
gopān vidrāvayām āsa
śṛṅgais tīkṣnair bhayaṅkaraiḥ

mūrdhni—on his head; kṛtvā—making; catuḥ-śṛṅgam—four horns; dhṛtvā—placing; rūpam—a form; bhayaṅkaram—terrifying; gopān—the gopas; vidrāvayām āsa—making flee; śṛṅgaiḥ—with horns; tīkṣnaiḥ—sharp; bhayaṅkaraih—terrifying.

English translation of verse 2.11.12:

Then Dheunka manifested a terrifying form with four horns. With his sharp and terrifying horns he made the gopas flee.
