The Garga-samhita Verses 2.10.24-25, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 10 (Description of Shri Krishna’s Herding the Cows) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

वेणु-वंशी-ध्वनिं श्रुत्वा
श्री-वंशीवट-मार्गतः
गो-रजोभिर् नभो व्यप्तं
वीक्ष्य गेहाद् विनिर्गताः
दूरी-कर्तुं ह्य् आधिबाधां
आहर्तुं सुखम् उत्तमम्
विस्मर्तुं न समर्थास् तं
द्रष्टुं गोप्यः समाययुः

veṇu-vaṃśī-dhvaniṃ śrutvā
śrī-vaṃśīvaṭa-mārgataḥ
go-rajobhir nabho vyaptaṃ
vīkṣya gehād vinirgatāḥ
dūrī-kartuṃ hy ādhibādhāṃ
āhartuṃ sukham uttamam
vismartuṃ na samarthās taṃ
draṣṭuṃ gopyaḥ samāyayuḥ

veṇu-vaṃśī-dhvanim—the sound of the flute; śrutvāhearing; śrī-vaṃśīvaṭa-mārgataḥ—from the path to Vamsivata; go-rajobhiḥ—with the dust of the cows; nabhaḥthe air; vyaptam—filled; vīkṣyaseeing; gehāt—from their homes; vinirgatāḥ—left; dūrī-kartum—to put far away; hy—indeed; ādhibādhām—anxiety; āhartum—to attain; sukham—happiness; uttamam—the highest; vismartum—to forget; na—not; samarthāḥ—able; tam—Him; draṣṭum—to see; gopyaḥ—the gopīs; samāyayuḥ—went.

English translation of verses 2.10.24-25:

Hearing the sound of the flute, and seeing the cows' dust fill the sky along the Vaṃśīvaṭa path, the gopīs, to put their anxieties far away and to taste the highest happiness, and unable to forget Him, went to see Kṛṣṇa.
