The Garga-samhita Verse 2.10.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 10 (Description of Shri Krishna’s Herding the Cows) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

शृङ्गयोर् अन्तरे राजन्
शिरो-मणि-मनोहराः
हेम-रश्मि-प्रभा-स्फूर्जच्-
छृङ्ग-पार्श्व-प्रवेष्टनाः

śṛṅgayor antare rājan
śiro-maṇi-manoharāḥ
hema-raśmi-prabhā-sphūrjac-
chṛṅga-pārśva-praveṣṭanāḥ

śṛṅgayoḥ—horns; antare—between; rājanO king; śiro-maṇi-manoharāḥ—neautiful; wityh a crow jewel; hemagold; raśmi-prabhāsplendor; sphūrjat—shining; śṛṅgahorn; pārśvaside; praveṣṭanāḥ—entered.

English translation of verse 2.10.5:

O king, a crown jewel placed between their horns made them beautiful. Their horns were plated with gold.
