The Garga-samhita Verse 2.10.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 10 (Description of Shri Krishna’s Herding the Cows) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

अग्रे पृष्ठे तदा गावस्
चरन्त्यः पार्श्वयोर् द्वयोः
श्री-कृष्णस्य बलस्यापि
पश्यन्त्यः सुन्दरं मुखम्

agre pṛṣṭhe tadā gāvas
carantyaḥ pārśvayor dvayoḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇasya balasyāpi
paśyantyaḥ sundaraṃ mukham

agre—in front; pṛṣṭhe—behind; tadāthen; gāvaḥthe cpws; carantyaḥ—going; pārśvayoḥ—on the sides; dvayoḥ—two; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; balasya—of Balarāma; api—and; paśyantyaḥ—seeing; sundaram—handsome; mukham—face.

English translation of verse 2.10.2:

Walking before, behind, and on both sides, the cows gazed at Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma's handsome faces.
