The Garga-samhita Verse 2.9.54, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 9 (Brahma’s Prayers) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

त ऊचुर् वत्सकैः कृष्ण
त्वरं त्वं तु समागतः
कुरुष्व भोजनं चात्र
केनापि न कृतं प्रभो

ta ūcur vatsakaiḥ kṛṣṇa
tvaraṃ tvaṃ tu samāgataḥ
kuruṣva bhojanaṃ cātra
kenāpi na kṛtaṃ prabho

te—they; ūcuḥ—said; vatsakaiḥ—with the calves; kṛṣṇaO Kṛṣṇa; tvaram—quickly; tvam—You; tu—indeed; samāgataḥ—come; kuruṣva—please do; bhojanam—lunch; ca—and; atra—here; kenāpi—somehow; na—not; kṛtam—done; prabhaḥ—O Lord.

English translation of verse 2.9.54:

They said: O Kṛṣṇa, You have come so quickly with the calves! O Lord, come and take lunch. Somehow we have not finished our lunch.
