अथ कृष्णो वनाच् छीघ्रं
आनयाम् आस वत्सकान्
यत्रापि पुलिने राजन्
गोपानां राज-मण्डली
atha kṛṣṇo vanāc chīghraṃ
ānayām āsa vatsakān
yatrāpi puline rājan
gopānāṃ rāja-maṇḍalī
atha—then; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; vanāt—from the forest; śīghram—quickly; ānayām āsa—led; vatsakān—the calves; yatra—where; api—also; puline—on the shore; rājan—O king; gopānām—of the gopas; rāja-maṇḍalī—in a royal circle.
English translation of verse 2.9.52:
O king, then Kṛṣṇa quickly led the calves from the forest to the Yamunā's shore, where Kṛṣṇa was in the midst of a glorious circle of gopas.
