त्वद्-भक्ति-भावे निरता
बहवस् त्वद्-गतिं गताः
योगिनो मुनयश् चैव
तथा ये व्रज-वासिनः
tvad-bhakti-bhāve niratā
bahavas tvad-gatiṃ gatāḥ
yogino munayaś caiva
tathā ye vraja-vāsinaḥ
tvad-bhakti-bhāve—in devotion to YTou; niratā—engaged; bahavaḥ—many; tvad-gatim—the destination of You; gataḥ—attained; yoginaḥ—yogis; munayaḥ—sages; ca—and; eva—indeed; tathā—so; ye—who; vraja—of Vraja; vāsinaḥ—the residents.
English translation of verse 2.9.40:
As many yogīs and sages became devoted to You and attained You, so the residents of Vraja also became devoted to You and attained You.
