The Garga-samhita Verse 2.9.35, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 9 (Brahma’s Prayers) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

नारायणस् त्वं गोविन्द
नाहं नारायणो हरे
ब्रह्माण्डं त्वं विनिर्माय
शेषे नारायणः पुरा

nārāyaṇas tvaṃ govinda
nāhaṃ nārāyaṇo hare
brahmāṇḍaṃ tvaṃ vinirmāya
śeṣe nārāyaṇaḥ purā

nārāyaṇaḥNārāyaṇa; tvam—You; govindaO Govinda; na—not; aham—I; nārāyaṇaḥ—Nārāyaṇa; hareO Hari; brahmāṇḍam—a universe; tvam—You; vinirmāya—creating; śeṣe—on Śeṣa; nārāyaṇaḥ—Nārāyaṇa. purā—in ancient times.

English translation of verse 2.9.35:

O Govinda, O Hari, You are Nārāyaṇa. I am not Nārāyaṇa. You are the same Nārāyaṇa that in ancient times created the universe and then rested on Ananta Śeṣa.
