शनैश् चलन् मानस-राज-हंस-
ग्रीवाकृतौ कन्धर उच्च-देशे
कादम्बिनी-मान-हरौ करौ च
भजामि नित्यं हरि-काक-पक्षौ
śanaiś calan mānasa-rāja-haṃsa-
grīvākṛtau kandhara ucca-deśe
kādambinī-māna-harau karau ca
bhajāmi nityaṃ hari-kāka-pakṣau
śanaiḥ—gradually; calan—going; mānasa—of the mind; rāja-haṃsa—the royal swan; grīvākṛtau—in the form of a neck; kandhara—neck; ucca-deśe—broad; kādambinī—of monsoon clouds; māna—the pride; harau—removing; karau—hands; ca—and; bhajāmi—I worship; nityam—always; hari—of Lord Hari; kāka—crow; pakṣau—feathers.
English translation of verse 2.9.27:
On the slowly-moving swan of Lord Hari's neck again and again I worship two black crow-feathers, which remove the pride of the black monsoon clouds.
